Impressions of the ESCRS Paris 2019

"Experience the evolution of possibilities" – that was the SCHWIND motto for the ESCRS 2019 and numerous visitors followed this invitation. We were delighted to present the new femtosecond laser for lenticule extraction and flap creation. With SCHWIND ATOS, SCHWIND now offers the most important all-laser procedures of modern refractive corneal surgery first-hand – minimally invasive lenticular extraction with SmartSight, FemtoLASIK and TransPRK/SmartSurfACE. Accordingly, we were able to register a record number of visitors at our booth. The daily wet lab with our femtosecond laser and the Booth Sessions, at which SCHWIND users reported on their experiences with our technologies, met with particularly great interest.

SCHWIND Cocktail Dinner at Brasserie Printemps

The cocktail dinner offered a good opportunity for an intensive exchange in a relaxed atmosphere, high up on a legendary department store in Paris. The historic building welcomed us under its breathtakingly beautiful Art Deco Cupola and gave us the most beautiful sight of this heritage building and Parisian symbol in homage to the legendary department store.

Our guests were treated to a touch of the French way of life: During the tasting of a delicious array of canapés and small dishes inspired by the fine French cuisine, accompanied by selected wines and refreshing drinks, we enjoyed a delightful and relaxing evening at the unique location of the Brasserie Printemps.
