The parent company SWISSMED Pte Ltd is an independent Singapore-based medical devices distribution company which was founded in 2012 and having offices across key markets in Asia. Swissmed (Ophthaswissmed) Philippines Inc. was established in 2013, and has been able to identify unique and innovative technologies from European and American manufacturers and make them available to Ophthalmologists and Eye Care practices in the Philippines.
