How does CustomEyes® work?
The SCHWIND treatment planning module incorporates data from high-resolution diagnostic devices, enabling a highly personalized SCHWIND AMARIS® treatment.
The AMARIS® is programmed using detailed measurements of each patient's eye, which may encompass the cornea or the entire eye.
In addition to a refraction optimization function, the intelligent SCHWIND treatment planning software can automatically identify aberrations to be corrected – ensuring reduced tissue removal1 without relevant compromises on visual acuity2.
As a result, SCHWIND AMARIS® performs corneal ablation based on a personalized treatment profile, which can be optimized to preserve as much tissue as reasonably possible1 and improve vision2 while maintaining high corneal stability3.
