How does CustomEyes® work?

SCHWIND treatment planning includes the data of uniquely high-resolution diagnostic devices that support to make the SCHWIND AMARIS® treatment maximally personalized. The AMARIS® is programmed based on detailed measurements of each individual patient’s eye, which includes the cornea and the lens of the eye. Beside a refraction optimization function, all aberrations to be removed can be identified automatically within the intelligent SCHWIND treatment planning software – ensuring minimal tissue removal without any compromise on visual acuity. As a result, SCHWIND AMARIS® ablates a patient eye individual treatment profile with the target to save as much as possible tissue, maintain high corneal stability and achieve best possible vision.
